Oracle PL/SQL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions within the IFS Cloud system, aiding the organization’s business processes and ongoing IT transformation efforts;

• You will design, modify, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages, as well as analyze and troubleshoot system errors;

• You will create and manage reports using IFS Report Designer, supplying business users with accurate information to support their daily operations and decision-making;

• You will develop and maintain system integrations utilizing REST API, XML, and JSON, collaborating with the IT team, business users, and process owners;

• You will assist business users and engage in the standardization and continuous enhancement of IT solutions and development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with IFS Cloud is essential; experience limited to IFS Applications 10 will not be adequate for this role;

• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Database, including the capability to develop and modify queries, procedures, and packages;

• Familiarity with integration technologies and data formats, specifically REST API, JSON, and XML;

• Experience in report development using IFS Report Designer or a comparable reporting solution;

• Understanding of business processes in at least one of the following areas: manufacturing, finance, warehousing, logistics, or HR;

• Proficient command of English, adequate for effective interactions with technical documentation;

• Basic knowledge of Java is regarded as an advantage;

• Familiarity with Marble or IFS Developer Studio is considered a plus;

• Experience with Git repositories and an understanding of version control concepts, including branching and pull requests, is viewed favorably;

• Knowledge of clean code principles and basic familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies are advantageous;

• Awareness of AI tools that support software development, such as code assistants or code analysis tools, is considered beneficial.
