Optimization Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute optimization models (MIP, CP, and tailored heuristics)

• Transition algorithms from mathematical concepts to benchmarking, fine-tuning, and deployment

• Analyze and enhance the efficiency and reliability of the scheduling engine

• Collaborate with product and software engineering teams to convert workflows into technical specifications

• Uphold high engineering standards through code evaluations and testing

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline

• Strong expertise in formulating Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) and Constraint Programming (CP) models

• Practical experience with solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, or Hexaly

• Professional experience in developing and supporting software utilized by actual customers

• Proficient in English
