This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in managing Army logistics materiel management programs through effective supply management, inventory analysis, warehousing, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform research and analysis to assess materiel management operations, inventory performance, supply chain efficiency, and emerging challenges.
• Gather, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from various sources to facilitate executive decision-making and program recommendations.
• Create executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and other written communications that support Army logistics materiel management initiatives.
• Aid in the planning, coordination, and continuous enhancement of warehousing, secondary item management, inventory control, and supply management processes.
• Coordinate activities and recommendations across diverse Army organizations and stakeholders to achieve enterprise materiel management goals.
• Oversee project activities, milestones, deliverables, inventory trends, and action items to ensure timely completion.
• Lead meetings, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions.
• Transform complex operational and analytical data into actionable recommendations that enhance supply chain performance, materiel readiness, and organizational efficacy.
• Create performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to provide leadership visibility and support informed decision-making.
• Assist in strategic planning, inventory evaluations, supply chain analysis, and enterprise modernization initiatives, as necessary.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including market research, proposal assistance, solution development, and client engagement, as needed.
• Undertake additional consulting, analytical, and project support tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in supporting Army logistics, materiel management, mortuary affairs, DoD, or other complex Government organizations.
• Proven experience in supporting strategic sustainment, supply chain operations, logistics analysis, or organizational assessments.
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Proven capability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in crafting executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with various stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
