Operations Associate – Finance, Hedge Fund, Multi-Asset Exposure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee trade confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events across various asset classes.

• Manage operational processes related to wallets, custodians, and digital assets.

• Conduct daily booking and reconciliation of securities positions, cash balances, and profit & loss across internal systems.

• Investigate and address trade breaks, settlement challenges, and operational discrepancies with counterparties and custodians.

• Provide support for operational controls associated with treasury, trading, and digital asset functions.

• Assist in fulfilling audit requests, confirmations, and providing supporting documentation.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

• Develop, refine, and maintain operational workflows, internal tools, and automation processes.

• Identify potential for process optimization and scalability in operations.

• Create and update technical documentation, procedures, and user manuals.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of operations experience, ideally within a credit hedge fund or asset management firm.

• Experience with digital assets or the blockchain ecosystem is advantageous but not essential.

• Familiarity with the Enfusion portfolio management system is a plus (not mandatory).

• Proficient in Excel, along with VBA or Python.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and effective communication abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycles and settlement procedures.
