
Online Teacher – Catholic Theology, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a designated caseload of students and track their academic progress throughout the duration of the course.
• Ensure ongoing communication with students, parents, and school partners, providing regular updates on progress.
• Evaluate assignments and offer prompt, constructive feedback.
• Conduct engaging live virtual instruction as assigned.
• Assess student performance and apply appropriate academic interventions when necessary.
• Collaborate with instructional leaders and internal stakeholders to facilitate student success.
• Keep accurate student records and fulfill required administrative duties.
• Engage in professional development, instructional observations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Complete all mandatory training and compliance requirements.
• Act as a substitute or bench teacher when needed.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• An active teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from a Catholic University is required.
• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, as verified by a letter from your Pastor or another Parish Official.
• At least two years of teaching experience in a Catholic school is preferred.
• Catechist Certification is preferred.
• Previous classroom or instructional experience is required.
• Experience in teaching within an online or blended learning environment is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to foster positive relationships in a virtual learning context.
• Proficiency in learning management systems and educational technology is necessary.
• Capability to independently navigate the technology required for the position, including Microsoft Office, email, video conferencing tools, and learning management systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities are required.
• Ability to manage a high-volume asynchronous caseload with consistency and responsiveness.
• Proven ability to utilize student performance data to guide instructional choices.
