Online Teacher – ASL, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a designated caseload of students and track their academic progress throughout the duration of the course.

• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school affiliates, providing consistent updates on progress.

• Evaluate assignments and offer prompt, constructive feedback.

• Conduct engaging live virtual instruction as required.

• Assess student performance and implement suitable academic interventions.

• Collaborate with instructional leaders and internal stakeholders to promote student success.

• Keep accurate student records and fulfill necessary administrative duties.

• Engage in professional development, instructional observations, and feedback mechanisms.

• Complete all mandatory training and compliance activities.

• Act as a substitute or bench teacher when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related field is required.

• A Master's degree is preferred.

• An active teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area is strongly preferred.

• Previous classroom or instructional experience is required.

• Experience teaching in an online or blended learning setting is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to foster positive relationships in a virtual learning environment.

• Proficiency in learning management systems and educational technology.

• Ability to independently navigate the technology necessary for the role, including Microsoft Office, email, video conferencing tools, and learning management systems.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Capability to manage a high-volume asynchronous caseload with consistency and responsiveness.

• Proven ability to utilize student performance data to guide instructional decisions.
