
Online Special Education Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and deliver tailored instruction to students who receive special education and related services.
β’ Work collaboratively with related service providers and general education staff to implement necessary accommodations and modifications.
β’ Prepare and uphold IEPs, Prior Written Notices, and potentially evaluation documents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
β’ Organize and lead meetings throughout the special education process.
β’ Engage and collaborate with parents, staff, and administrative personnel regarding student planning and progress.
β’ Oversee the transition of new students eligible for special education and related services.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ 1 to 2 years of experience in special education.
β’ SPED certification, either provision or standard, including AZ Mild to Moderate or K-12 Cross-Categorical SPED.
β’ Certifications such as Moderate/Severe Disabilities K-12 or Intern/Alternative may be considered.
β’ Successful completion of a criminal history background check is necessary.
β’ Fingerprint clearance must be obtained in compliance with state regulations.
β’ Capability to perform standing, sitting, repetitive hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
β’ May be required to lift or move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
β’ Local travel may be required for training and professional development opportunities.
