Oncology Data Specialist, Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for identifying cases, data abstraction, and ongoing follow-up for patients diagnosed with cancer.

• Conducts clinical data abstraction by recording comprehensive patient histories, diagnoses, staging, and treatment details for all patients entered into the cancer registry.

• Applies principles of cancer data collection and assigns codes to the gathered data.

• Engages in quality assurance activities as assigned.

• Participates in and attends professional conferences, seminars, or workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree in a relevant field.

• Must hold an (ODS-C) Oncology Data Specialist certification from the National Cancer Registrar Association.
