This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Build and lead an elite team – Inspire and cultivate a continually expanding community of world-class ethical hackers. Attract top talent, mentor them into leaders, and grow our UK Red Team from a burgeoning squad to an unparalleled force.

• Take charge of the attack strategy – Define and implement the offensive playbook. From digital intrusions to physical social engineering, you will determine where and how we strike next to keep clients constantly alert (and secure).

• Ensure relentless delivery – Supervise comprehensive red team operations. Guarantee that our unlimited-scope attacks remain agile, unpredictable, and highly effective. Every engagement should challenge the boundaries of what is achievable in offensive security.

• Foster innovation and experimentation – Promote a culture of innovation and hacking research. Motivate the team to uncover new vulnerabilities, create unique exploits, and think like those who break the rules. You will consistently keep us ahead of the curve.

• Engage and influence clients – Act as the offensive security advocate for our clients. Directly interface with customers’ C-suites and boards, translating our hackers’ discoveries into actionable business insights. Assist our Sales team in securing major deals with your credibility and vision, turning prospects into supporters.

• Mentor the Hive – Cultivate the next generation of adversarial experts. Coach and train your team members in advanced techniques, refine their interpersonal skills, and instill the confidence to present and lead.

• Collaborate on a global scale – Partner with CovertSwarm’s US and global leadership to ensure we function as one cohesive Swarm. Share tactics, align on strategy, and contribute to the overarching direction of our services. You will have a role in shaping our global offensive strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated offensive security leadership – You have built, directed, and expanded offensive security teams. Perhaps you have developed a Red Team from a few testers to a robust operation, or you have managed intricate, multi-layered attack campaigns. You understand what makes a team of hackers thrive — and succeed.

• Mastery in offensive security – Extensive knowledge in the art and science of cyber-attacks. You are familiar with the entire kill chain: phishing, web application exploits, cloud pivots, Wi-Fi hacking, physical intrusions, social engineering, and more. While you may not create every payload yourself, you can strategize and assess them effortlessly.

• Strategic vision with practical implementation – You can establish high-level strategies while also delving into the details when necessary. You are equally comfortable planning a 12-month offensive roadmap and brainstorming exploit techniques for challenging engagements.

• Passionate mentor and team builder – A strong commitment to developing people. You have guided hackers into senior positions and perhaps promoted some to managerial roles. You find fulfillment in seeing your team members excel and grow under your mentorship.

• Exceptional communicator – You can simplify complex attack narratives into clear, jargon-free language for executives. Boardrooms do not intimidate you — you thrive in them, educating leaders on risks through compelling storytelling. (If you can explain a Remote Code Execution exploit to a CEO without losing their interest, you are the right fit for us.)

• Driven and accountable – You set ambitious goals and achieve them. A growth of 300% does not deter you; it motivates you. You take responsibility for outcomes, hold yourself and your team to high standards, and you do not make excuses — you make it happen.
