Nurse Practitioner Educator – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Prepare and conduct engaging live courses for Nurse Practitioner Certification Review.

• Leverage established content to effectively deliver captivating and dynamic material.

• Implement adult learning principles to engage participants and enhance content retention, contributing to success on the national certification exam.

• Assist APRN programs in the integration of APEA solutions.

• Offer support in content creation as a subject matter expert.

• Welcome constructive feedback from clients to enhance presentation delivery.

• Use data to assist advance practice program faculty with evidence-based remediation strategies while incorporating APEA solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Nursing.

• In-depth knowledge of the Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Blueprint.

• Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License.

• At least 2 years of experience in teaching or presenting at conferences as a podium presenter, with 5+ years preferred.

• Preferred experience as a family, psychiatric mental health, or adult geriatric acute care nurse practitioner.

• Maintain expertise in NP certification exam content.

• Continuously enhance and maintain evidence-based knowledge of advanced practice nursing.

• Exhibit an enthusiastic and engaging presentation style.

• Demonstrate professionalism at all times.

• Show technological proficiency with a range of applications.

• Foster a collaborative environment with faculty and students.

• Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Assist students in identifying their individual learning needs.

• Challenge and encourage students to develop critical-thinking skills.

• Innovatively provide and clarify essential content.

• Utilize adult learning strategies to engage learners.

• Willingness to travel and present two to four review courses annually.
