This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee the Coverage Inbox, which includes addressing patient inquiries, follow-up requirements, and messages related to symptoms.
β’ Evaluate patient needs and direct messages appropriately.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the care team.
β’ Deliver clear and supportive communication to patients, along with education and outlining next steps.
β’ Ensure timely and precise documentation of patient interactions and care plans.
β’ Review and manage asynchronous prescription and refill requests within the limits of licensure.
β’ Assess prescription requests for clinical suitability, accuracy, and safety.
β’ Examine flagged and critical lab results and incoming diagnostics.
β’ Initiate necessary clinical follow-ups and escalate urgent or complex findings as needed.
β’ Conduct same-day and next-day visits when a direct evaluation is required.
β’ Administer assessments, treatments, and patient education.
β’ Transition patients from asynchronous messaging to synchronous visits.
β’ Provide clinical assistance for evolving patient care and business requirements.
β’ Engage in project-based clinical work and initiatives aimed at enhancing care quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
β’ Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
β’ Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and prescriptive authority in at least five U.S. states, including California or New Jersey.
β’ Preference for additional active state licenses; strong inclination for candidates licensed in ten or more states.
β’ At least three years of clinical experience in independently managing perimenopause, menopause, and hormone replacement therapy.
β’ Experience in prescribing and adjusting dosages of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.
β’ Minimum of one year of clinical experience in evaluating, prescribing, and monitoring pharmacologic treatments for obesity, including GLP-1 agonists.
β’ At least three years of experience managing a longitudinal patient panel independently, including diagnostic ordering, lab review, and therapeutic planning.
β’ Minimum of three years of experience delivering synchronous telehealth in a remote, productivity-focused environment that is not clinic-based.
β’ Proficiency in using an EHR, video-conferencing software, clinical decision-support systems, AI scribe tools, Slack, and Notion simultaneously.
β’ Asynchronous patient-care experience is highly preferred.
β’ Ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and effectively in a written-first clinical setting.
β’ Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
β’ A reliable and secure internet connection is required.
β’ Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
