📋 Description

• Proven experience in fundraising within nonprofit organizations, specifically in areas such as rare diseases, healthcare, medical research, patient advocacy, or other mission-driven sectors.

• Track record of successfully securing funding from various sources including individuals, major donors, corporations, foundations, grantmakers, or government agencies.

• Experienced in managing crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, or digital fundraising initiatives using platforms like GoFundMe or similar.

• Exceptional skills in grant research, proposal writing, donor communication, relationship management, and presentations.

• Capability to distill complex medical or scientific concepts into clear, credible, and persuasive messaging for donors.

• Innovative and resourceful approach to garnering support for a specialized cause with a limited global patient demographic.

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that encompasses individual donations, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, sponsorships, and crowdfunding efforts.

• Identify, cultivate, and engage potential donors, foundations, corporations, government funding agencies, and strategic partners.

• Develop compelling fundraising narratives, cases for support, proposals, presentations, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.

• Plan and oversee digital fundraising campaigns utilizing GoFundMe or similar platforms, as well as email, social media, and other online channels.

• Create donor stewardship programs aimed at enhancing relationships, promoting recurring donations, and increasing donor retention.

• Set fundraising goals, timelines, budgets, reporting processes, and performance indicators.
