This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.
• Oversee and manage the NMTC Allocation Application process for various CDE clients, which includes advising CDEs on application strategies such as positioning, differentiation, deployment planning, community impact objectives, and adapting to changing CDFI Fund priorities.
• Prepare, review, and finalize NMTC Allocation Applications along with supporting documents.
• Create persuasive narratives for business strategies, community outcomes, and other sections to enhance scoring and ensure competitive success.
• Carry out quantitative analyses of clients' investment track records and impact metrics.
• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to identify, assess, and source pipeline projects that align with each CDE’s objectives.
• Research and synthesize pertinent industry data, trends, and terminology to bolster business and community impact strategies.
• Coordinate with investors to obtain commitments, letters of interest, and other necessary documentation for application submissions.
• Manage timelines and deliverables to guarantee timely and accurate submissions, even under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as economics, community development, nonprofit management, business administration, finance, public policy, journalism, communications, etc.) or demonstrate applicable experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in NMTC Application development, including involvement in at least two NMTC Allocation Application rounds.
• Proficient understanding of NMTC program structures, community development finance, related reporting requirements, and the CDFI Fund’s AMIS platform.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to express complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and related tools.
• Excellent organizational abilities; capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
• Experience in project management, including ownership of intricate, multi-stakeholder projects, and familiarity with project management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
