This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Oversee a designated geographic area while promoting and expanding the reach of Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate lasting relationships with physicians and other stakeholders in targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands and their approved applications.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders regarding the benefits of the products.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through targeted educational efforts and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies through both in-person and virtual communications.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Oversee promotional resources and budget management.
• Establish connections with healthcare providers, clinical staff, opinion leaders, advocacy groups, clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events.
• A BS/BA degree in science or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• At least 3 years of desired experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales.
• A master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience can be considered as an alternative.
• Experience in closed-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Preference for candidates with psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools is essential.
• Knowledge of best practices within the functional discipline and related business concepts is required.
• A solid understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments is crucial.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales goals and achieving successful product launches in complex settings.
• Ability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of business systems are necessary.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, and similar tools is expected.
• Excellent project management, analytical thinking, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong sales and account management mindset is necessary.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts across various care sites is important.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements is required.
• Results-oriented, adaptable, effective at managing change, and capable of meeting multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• An entrepreneurial spirit or experience is advantageous.
• Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required; frequent driving is part of the role.
