Network Security Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the migration, configuration, and upkeep of Cisco ASA and Firepower systems

• Design and administer F5 BIG-IP solutions for load balancing and web application protection

• Implement and oversee micro-segmentation policies within VMware NSX environments

• Develop strategies for transitioning legacy Cisco ASA rulesets to Cisco Firepower or Palo Alto NGFWs

• Serve as the primary escalation point for intricate network outages and security incidents

• Deliver outstanding customer support through phone and ticketing systems

• Work in collaboration with Service Delivery Managers and Account Executives to cultivate strong customer relationships

• Engage in Root Cause Analysis discussions

• Disseminate knowledge through documentation and training sessions

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate-level professional background in network security engineering

• Advanced understanding of Cisco ASA (CLI/ASDM) and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto NGFW features (App-ID, User-ID, SSL Decryption)

• Proficiency in F5 BIG-IP, encompassing iRules development and SSL offloading

• Practical experience with VMware NSX, including distributed firewalls (DFW) and edge gateways

• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and deep packet inspection

• Candidates must possess industry-recognized certifications: CCNA Security (Required), CCNP Security (Highly Preferred), PCNSE (Highly Preferred)
