This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Establish corporate technical standards and minimum infrastructure requirements, creating reference architectures that align with high availability criteria (e.g., Tier III);
• Ensure infrastructure initiatives facilitate operational continuity, support business expansion, and mitigate systemic risks;
• Develop and refine guidelines aimed at minimizing carbon footprint, enhancing energy efficiency, and promoting the responsible use of resources;
• Lead initiatives to improve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and transition to lower-environmental-impact technologies, such as Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries;
• Organize and sustain the corporate infrastructure performance indicator (KPI) framework;
• Leverage market benchmarking to establish targets for efficiency, power density, physical occupancy, and operational resilience;
• Assess technology trends, management tools (DCIM), and new architectural models that lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and prolong asset lifespan;
• Serve as an innovation catalyst, balancing technological maturity, operational risks, and financial returns;
• Conduct medium- and long-term capacity planning to foresee bottlenecks and saturation points before they become critical (e.g., exceeding 93% load);
• Provide support for decisions regarding expansion, reinforcement, or load redistribution based on technical data and growth forecasts.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, or Civil);
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices for defining availability and resilience (ANSI/TIA-942 and Uptime Institute standards);
• Strong capability to analyze and translate CAPEX and OPEX implications into strategic infrastructure choices, emphasizing financial sustainability;
• Extensive experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting efficiency and performance metrics while applying market benchmarking;
• Technical understanding of occupational safety, health regulations, and relevant environmental laws pertaining to infrastructure.
• Additional assets
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Strategic Management, Sustainability, or Project Management;
• Official certifications associated with Data Centers, availability, energy efficiency, or sustainability;
• Hands-on experience in decommissioning legacy networks and infrastructures, as well as in technological modernization efforts;
• Experience overseeing complex passive infrastructure contracts.
