Network Implementation Engineer – SD-WAN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete implementation of customer network services, which includes firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, wireless, and WAN connectivity.

• Manage and execute various simultaneous customer implementation projects while effectively balancing priorities, timelines, and customer communications.

• Configure, deploy, and activate solutions based on Cisco Meraki and/or Fortinet, adhering to approved designs.

• Implement Arista VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions as necessary.

• Collaborate remotely with customer IT personnel and Cox field technicians to finalize on-site tasks.

• Carry out network migrations and cutovers with minimal disruption to customers.

• Conduct troubleshooting during implementation and assist in resolving issues.

• Keep precise implementation documentation that is essential for transitioning to Support.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, Project Managers, and internal stakeholders about progress, risks, and obstacles.

• Adhere to implementation standards, processes, and security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing enterprise network solutions in customer-centric environments.

• Strong practical experience with at least one of the following platforms: Cisco Meraki (MX firewalls, Meraki SD-WAN, MS switches, MR access points) or Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiSD-WAN.

• Experience in implementing customer networks within production and customer-facing settings.

• Capability to independently conduct customer implementations with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent network implementation projects independently.

• Extensive practical experience with Cisco Meraki and/or Fortinet platforms.

• Solid grasp of L2/L3 networking, WAN architectures, and SD-WAN concepts.

• Experience working with U.S.-based customers or in globally distributed teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to quickly adapt and operate effectively with limited onboarding time.
