NCAEP Program Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belize.

📋 Description

• Assist in evaluating the development and execution process of the NCAEP under the supervision of the Program Coordinator at Galen University.

• Offer technical assistance for the rollout and pilot of the NCAEP, ensuring it aligns with the University's Quality Assurance Standards.

• Oversee the implementation of the NCAEP by guaranteeing that lecturers deliver the approved curriculum within the designated timeline.

• Provide technical support to lecturers for their assigned courses via Galen University's Moodle platform.

• Keep a registry of program participants to ensure accountability and minimize the risk of dropout.

• Monitor participant attendance and engagement during the pilot phase, proactively identifying and addressing risks associated with participants lagging or withdrawing.

• Organize course schedules and conduct technical assessments of deliverables for the two course lecturers (Climate Science and Climate Governance).

• Communicate and collaborate with project partners, consultants, and participating organizations.

• Assist in compiling relevant case studies for use throughout the pilot.

• Manage logistics for field activities, as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, higher education, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an assistant role, ideally within higher education administration or capacity building.

• Proven professional experience in managing stakeholder relationships and dealing with sensitive administrative agreements (e.g., contracts, letters of commitment).

• Familiarity with online educational platforms, particularly Moodle.
