This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement national sales strategies for the drains product line.
• Spearhead strategic business plans that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with national accounts, distributors, contractors, engineers, and channel partners.
• Discover opportunities for organic growth, adoption of new products, market expansion, and customer engagement.
• Assess market trends, competitive actions, customer needs, and industry advancements.
• Set sales goals, territory strategies, and performance benchmarks.
• Mentor, coach, develop, and assess sales staff.
• Manage field sales teams, manufacturer representatives, and channel partners.
• Oversee sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and growth strategies.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, product launches, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve customer and business goals.
• Present business reviews, growth strategies, and sales performance updates to senior leadership.
• Negotiate commercial contracts, pricing strategies, and sales initiatives.
• Address complex customer and channel issues through cross-functional teamwork.
• Lead strategic planning and suggest investments, market opportunities, customer segmentation, and sales resource allocation.
• Track sales performance metrics and ensure accountability for business outcomes.
• Engage in industry associations, trade shows, customer events, and market development initiatives.
• Travel at least 50% of the time to assist with customer meetings, sales teams, industry events, and business development efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing, commercial construction, plumbing, drainage, water technologies, or related sectors.
• 3+ years of experience in sales leadership, sales management, or national account management.
• Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies in a multi-channel sales environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build key customer relationships and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
• Strong business acumen to assess market opportunities, customer trends, financial performance, and competitive landscapes.
• Experience in preparing sales forecasts, business plans, and growth strategies.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions impacting revenue, profitability, and customer relationships.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, team development, and performance management capabilities.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Understanding of and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and business practices.
• Preferred: experience in drainage, plumbing, water management, infrastructure, commercial construction, or related product categories.
• Preferred: MBA or advanced business degree.
• Preferred: experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Preferred: knowledge of specification sales, distribution channels, and commercial construction markets.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with manufacturer's representatives, engineers, contractors, distributors, and national account clients.
• Preferred: familiarity with market development strategies, pricing management, and channel optimization.
• Preferred: experience in launching new products and managing intricate growth initiatives.
