National Associate Director of Development – Major Gifts Officer

📋 Description

• Oversee the identification and nurturing of individual donors contributing between $1,000 and $25,000.

• Build and maintain a portfolio of qualified donors while fostering strong relationships.

• Create tailored engagement strategies to motivate substantial support for our mission.

• Develop engagement plans for donors and prospects that include revenue forecasts.

• Promptly enter donor information into the database.

• Aid in the creation and implementation of fundraising strategies, campaigns, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of successful experience in donor-facing fundraising.

• Proven track record in soliciting and securing gifts of five figures or more.

• Capacity to engage, influence, and inspire donors and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong history of soliciting and obtaining major gifts.

• Highly self-driven, proactive, and able to independently lead initiatives.

• Excellent ability to collaborate effectively across all levels within the organization.

• Experience utilizing data and analytics to guide donor cultivation efforts.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with donor management systems, preferably Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
