
National Accounts Manager, Independent Brokerage Life Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate new and existing partnerships while providing proactive, high-level support to the National Accounts VP and Specialty Brokerage accounts.
• Generate insightful and actionable sales reports utilizing current systems and resources.
• Act as a dedicated resource for IMO marketing personnel, back-office staff, key IMO principals, and agents.
• Attain mastery of F&G products and conduct comparative analyses of competitor product features and benefits.
• Travel to established relationships and nurture new connections.
• Create and implement account sales strategies in collaboration with accounts and the National Account VP.
• Enhance and expand sales through IMO principals, agents, and back-office/operations levels.
• Establish trust with owners and senior managers while developing marketing and sales strategies for F&G life products.
• Offer training and support on F&G life and annuity offerings.
• Address operational needs utilizing F&G resources and liaise with home office personnel.
• Direct home office sales support activities to meet production goals and sales targets.
• Oversee new account setups and provide marketing assistance via webinars, conference calls, and presentations.
• Analyze and document IMO strategies, personnel, and production through Business Profiles.
• Manage relationships, sales, and marketing expectations for IMOs and high-potential agencies.
• Recruit and oversee Key Accounts, including contract levels and incentive suggestions.
• Sustain Key Account relationships through regular communication and visits.
• Develop and document business plans in collaboration with Key Accounts.
• Align Key Account requirements with Home Office service capabilities and protocols.
• Identify and coordinate high-quality presentations and promotional materials.
• Monitor competitor products, positioning, and their competitive impact.
• Prepare management reports, activity reports, and bi-annual Key Account assessments.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the National Account VP or senior management.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
• At least 3 years of experience in key account management.
• Proven track record of success in sales and/or marketing roles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding presentation skills.
• Strong project management, organizational, and follow-up capabilities.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Ability to foster effective working relationships both within the organization and with key accounts.
• Proficient PC skills.
• Regular and timely attendance is essential.
• Capability to work effectively in a home office setting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Availability to attend conferences and meetings, including some weekends and evenings.
• An industry-recognized designation such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP is preferred.
