This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and enhance direct relationships with key national fleet clients in the refuse vocational sector, targeting operators managing over 200 vehicles.
• Act as the primary contact for national fleet clients, guaranteeing outstanding service and accountability from the manufacturing facility.
• Propel national sales initiatives by crafting strategies specifically designed to meet the requirements of large fleet customers in the refuse and vocational sectors.
• Perform comprehensive operational assessments with fleet managers, route managers, and district managers to identify truck specification needs, uptime deficiencies, and challenges in fleet performance.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of proven success in the refuse industry (mandatory industry experience).
• Experience in selling directly to end-user fleets as an OEM representative, manufacturer's direct sales representative, or a similar commercial position within the waste industry.
• Background in fleet management, route management, or operations within the waste sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of refuse operations, fleet economics, truck specifications, and the operational hurdles encountered by fleet clients.
• Established relationships with national or significant regional haulers (such as WM, Republic, GFL, or similar), proficiency in refuse truck specifications, or experience with municipal RFP procurement and private fleet purchasing processes.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to travel weekly within your assigned account portfolio, typically departing from your home office on Monday and returning Thursday evening.
