Music Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual individual and group music therapy sessions.

• Instruct guitar techniques and lead songwriting initiatives.

• Conduct mindfulness and stress-reduction practices.

• Organize and implement virtual retreat programs.

• Record clinical services within the electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with songwriters and healthcare professionals.

• Oversee program logistics, reporting, and weekly meetings.

• Assist with outreach and participant recruitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).

• Preferred experience in substance use disorder treatment.

• Proficient in group facilitation and virtual teaching.

• Strong abilities in guitar instruction.

• Experience in songwriting or music composition.

• Knowledgeable in trauma-informed care and mindfulness techniques.

• Preferred experience working with veterans or clinical populations.

• Preferred background in program management or project coordination.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
