Music Production Expert, Urdu

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct side-by-side comparisons of AI-generated songs based on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production/mix standards.

• Categorize songs by genre, structure, instrumentation, vocals, and additional musical traits.

• Assess AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference materials for quality and precision.

• Collaborate with a leading AI lab to evaluate generative music AI models.

• Complete the Bilingual Competency Interview in Urdu during the onboarding process.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Urdu at a native or near-native level.

• Capable of following detailed written instructions in English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.

• Possess headphones or studio monitors that are suitable for critical listening.

• Engage as an independent contractor.

• Formal education in music performance, theory, or composition is preferred (nice to have).

• Experience with credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work is a plus (nice to have).

• A broad understanding of contemporary Urdu genres, sub-genres, and artists is advantageous (nice to have).

• Candidates must not hold an H1-B or STEM OPT visa, as Mercor is unable to support these applicants.
