Music Production Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comparative analyses of AI-generated songs based on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal performance, and overall production/mix quality.

• Categorize songs by genre, structure, instrumentation, vocals, and other musical attributes.

• Assess the quality and accuracy of AI-generated lyrics and vocals relative to reference materials.

• Collaborate with a prominent AI laboratory to evaluate generative music AI models.

• Complete the Bilingual Competency Interview in Hebrew and adhere to onboarding procedures.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Hebrew.

• Capability to follow detailed written instructions in English.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in music production, audio engineering, or mixing engineering.

• Headphones or studio monitors that are suitable for critical listening.

• Formal education in music performance, theory, or composition (preferred).

• Documented or commercially released work in production, engineering, or mixing (preferred).

• Extensive knowledge of contemporary Hebrew music genres, sub-genres, and artists (preferred).

• Competency to complete the Bilingual Competency Interview in Hebrew.

• Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate, as Mercor is unable to support these applicants.
