This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
⢠Develop visually striking assets and templates for social media, email campaigns, web content, events, and printed materials, ensuring they align with Shatterproofās brand identity and mission.
⢠Generate data visualizations and infographics that effectively communicate research, impact metrics, and program results in a clear, accessible, and shareable format.
⢠Create video and motion graphics content tailored for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn) and website storytelling.
⢠Edit both short-form and long-form videos, including testimonials, highlights from events, and executive messaging.
⢠Assist in the creation of presentations, one-pagers, and campaign materials for both internal and external audiences.
⢠Aid in the development and management of Shatterproofās YouTube channel, overseeing organization, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and SEO best practices.
⢠Cultivate relationships with freelance photographers and videographers for events, campaigns, and field capture (including briefing, shot lists, deliverables, timelines, and organization).
⢠Collaborate with internal teams to produce cohesive creative work that aligns with editorial and campaign schedules.
⢠Maintain and enhance Shatterproofās brand-style guide, templates, and design systems.
⢠Engage in creative planning sessions to conceptualize visuals that align with campaign objectives and audience insights.
⢠Apply best practices for metadata, tagging, naming conventions, and tracking usage rights.
⢠Work closely with the Director of Strategic Communications to ensure design work aligns with the organizationās storytelling and media engagement.
⢠Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Direct Response to adapt creative materials for paid campaigns and website optimization.
⢠Oversee multiple concurrent projects, balancing creative quality with timely delivery.
⢠3ā5 years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, or multimedia content production (preferably in nonprofit or agency settings).
⢠Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.
⢠Strong capabilities in video editing and motion design, particularly for short-form and social-first formats.
⢠Established ability to create data visualizations and infographics that simplify complex information and engage audiences.
⢠Experience in designing for various platforms (social media, web, print, and presentations).
⢠Knowledge of accessibility and inclusivity standards in design.
⢠Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
