Motion Designer, Video Producer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Transform product briefs and engineering insights into engaging video concepts that feature a clear narrative and perspective.

• Craft scripts, oversee voiceover direction, and create storyboards prior to the animation process, while conducting feedback sessions with product teams, marketing, and founders until the narrative resonates.

• Handle comprehensive motion design production, including UI animations, transitions, text choreography, sound design, and music direction.

• Work in close collaboration with product, design, marketing, and founders throughout each launch, quickly adapting to changes in direction.

• Explore AI-native motion workflows to expedite processes and discover innovative techniques that would be unattainable otherwise.

• Ensure a cohesive visual language across all launches while keeping each video unique and captivating.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio is more important than years of experience. We seek to see story-driven launch projects for tech products, videos that make complex ideas feel both exciting and straightforward.

• You approach challenges with a product designer's mindset and execute with a filmmaker's agility. You possess sufficient UI knowledge to animate it beautifully, and a narrative understanding that guides your decisions on what to showcase and what to omit. You are committed to seeing the concept through to completion.

• You are well-versed in the latest AI motion tools and can identify which are worth your investment of time. You leverage these tools to enhance your efficiency and discover creative methods that would be otherwise impossible.

• A portfolio showcasing launch videos for tech or SaaS products that are story-driven, generating excitement and making the product feel significant.

• Strong foundation in scriptwriting and storyboarding. You develop narratives in Figma before transitioning to After Effects.

• Expertise in After Effects, Premiere, and Figma.

• A sensibility for product design. You have a solid understanding of UI, allowing you to animate in a way that feels authentic rather than generic.

• Practical experience with AI tools integrated into your motion workflow, such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms.

• Comfortable directing voiceovers and selecting music as part of the complete creative package.

• Ability to work asynchronously with a distributed team and manage your own workflow across multiple launches.
