Motion Designer – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality video content in both 2D and 3D – You will take full responsibility for producing captivating, polished assets that meet a high visual standard and engage players.

• Convey compelling visual narratives through motion – Utilize composition, color, animation techniques, and staging to develop emotionally resonant and high-performing creatives.

• Collaborate using a modern production stack (After Effects, Blender, Unity) – Work closely with creative developers and adapt to technical workflows that extend beyond traditional motion design.

• Utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance production efficiency – Recognize when and how to effectively implement AI tools to boost speed while preserving creative oversight.

• Share ideas and challenge creative limits – Contribute your perspective, suggest concepts, and assist the team in continually enhancing quality and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• We seek an individual with over 3 years of experience as a Motion Designer in mobile gaming – combined with humility, curiosity, ambition, and a drive to make an impact quickly. You will excel if you possess:

• Significant hands-on experience in motion design across both 2D and 3D, creating high-quality video advertisements for mobile games, with a strong emphasis on performance and marketability.

• Background in mobile gaming or ad creative production within environments recognized for their strong creative output.

• Proficiency in tools such as After Effects and Blender, and comfortability with Unity.

• A keen visual sense and solid animation fundamentals: composition, color theory, motion quality, and animation principles (including the Disney 12 principles), with the ability to produce polished, engaging content.

• Capability to work independently and deliver results with minimal feedback, maintaining a high quality standard, navigating ambiguity, and making informed decisions on creative tasks.

• Strong grasp of modern production workflows, knowing how to balance efficiency and quality, select appropriate tools, and organize your work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• A proactive attitude and a strong team-oriented approach, remaining motivated in test-and-learn environments, bringing positive energy, and contributing to a team that continually strives for improved outcomes.

• Bonus points for:

• Experience with AI tools in production – You know how to leverage AI for image, video, and workflow optimization, and can identify when to use it for efficiency without sacrificing quality control.

• Creative ideation experience – You can propose innovative ideas, constructively challenge briefs, and offer your unique perspective on what might work from a creative or market angle.

• Hand-drawing skills – capable of creating storyboards, sketches for idea presentation, strong illustrations, and more.
