Motion Designer – 6-month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality static and motion graphics for brand campaigns, partnerships, social media, performance marketing, events, product launches, and various marketing initiatives.

• Design and modify creative content across different channels and formats while ensuring a consistent brand experience.

• Work collaboratively with marketers and cross-functional teams to generate creative ideas and successfully execute campaigns.

• Produce captivating visuals and leverage motion to enhance storytelling within digital experiences.

• Confirm that creative outputs align with brand standards, are localized for Indonesia, and optimized for the intended platforms.

• Keep abreast of design, motion, and social trends to introduce innovative ideas that elevate creative work.

• Assist the SEA Marketing team in crafting content that resonates locally and bolsters Canva's presence in Indonesia.

⛳️ Requirements

• A robust portfolio showcasing graphic and motion design across digital marketing, branding, or creative projects.

• Solid foundation in graphic design principles, including typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.

• Expertise in motion design, animation, and video editing.

• Experience in creating creative assets for social media, digital marketing, brand campaigns, or integrated marketing initiatives.

• Capability to adapt concepts across various channels and formats.

• Skill in developing compelling visual concepts and executing them in both static and motion formats.

• Good grasp of local trends and an ability to translate them into relevant, engaging creative content.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, test-and-learn environment.

• Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Proficient in Canva and tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar applications.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the 6-month engagement.
