• Create engaging design assets such as advertisement sets and landing pages, supported by data to enhance digital marketing KPIs.
• Generate motion graphics and basic short-form video edits optimized for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Transform existing video assets into high-performing advertisement units tailored to platform specifications, aspect ratios, and viewer attention spans.
• Work in collaboration with media and content teams to ensure that motion creative aligns with audience insights and campaign objectives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while creatively adapting to diverse audience segments and platforms.
• Partner with internal and client teams to comprehend business objectives, target audiences, and other data points to support the development of A/B tests and data-driven designs.
• Design and execute A/B tests and additional experiments using conversion rate optimization tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg.
• Perform user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis to collect insights and validate design choices.
• Continuously iterate and enhance designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing results.
• Oversee multiple design projects concurrently while maintaining effective communication with project management and other internal stakeholders to provide project updates, address feedback, and ensure their needs are met.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to conversion rate optimization and user experience design.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, with an emphasis on performance-driven creative and conversion rate optimization.
• 1 year of experience in motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
• Basic video editing and motion graphics skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding and application of performance marketing metrics such as A/B Testing, conversion rate optimization analytics, heat mapping, and experience in designing for performance-oriented campaigns.
• Motivated to stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can improve marketing and operations.
• 🏠 We offer a set living wage at Directive; the annual base salary range for this position based in Canada is $70,000 - $95,000 CAD. This salary range is an estimate, and actual compensation may vary based on Directive's payment practices, job-related skills, and experience level.
