This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary in-house creator for all graphic designs related to ZERO.
• Develop and implement printed and online materials such as social media visuals, logos, advertisements, brochures, newsletters, event signage, annual reports, direct mail, digital communications, promotions, and other projects as required.
• Create marketing assets for mission-related, fundraising, and sponsor initiatives.
• Oversee design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
• Establish and manage new procedures and processes to enhance the efficiency of the design workflow as necessary.
• Collaborate with channel leads and cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are consistent with brand guidelines, strategic goals, and project objectives.
• Optimize designs for various digital platforms (web, email, social media) to improve user experience and engagement.
• Leverage AI and other tools to guarantee high-quality, error-free content and streamline workflow.
• Stay informed on design technologies and industry trends to provide innovative and relevant design solutions.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with project team members and clients, offering creative insights and ideas.
• Manage and oversee all ZERO-related logo assets and the use of ZERO’s photo library.
• Prepare and present work to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback to refine and enhance designs.
• Organize and maintain design files for optimal structure and accessibility.
• Effectively manage multiple design requests, even with limited resources.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A digital portfolio link is mandatory for application submission.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is essential.
• Strong skills in project management, organization, and problem-solving are necessary.
• Experience in utilizing generative AI tools (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude) to enhance creative workflows, expedite conceptual ideation, and efficiently scale the production of high-quality design assets is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Capabilities in video editing.
• Strategic UX design thinking; experience in web design (including websites, landing pages, and/or microsites); no coding is required.
• Previous experience in a non-profit organization is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Figma, Google Workspace, Slack, and Canva is beneficial.
• Ability to adapt to evolving situations is crucial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments are required.
