This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create engaging design materials such as ad sets and landing pages, supported by data to enhance digital marketing KPIs.
• Develop motion graphics and concise video cutdowns optimized for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Transform existing video assets into high-impact ad units tailored to platform specifications, aspect ratios, and user attention spans.
• Work collaboratively with media and content teams to ensure that motion creative aligns with audience insights and campaign objectives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while creatively adapting to various audience segments and platforms.
• Partner with internal and client teams to comprehend business objectives, target audiences, and other data points to aid in the development of A/B tests and data-driven designs.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments utilizing CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg.
• Carry out user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis to collect insights and validate design choices.
• Continuously iterate and enhance designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing results.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently while effectively communicating with project management and other internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status, respond to feedback, and ensure their needs are met.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to CRO and user experience design.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, focusing on performance-driven creative and CRO.
• 1 year of experience in motion graphics.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
• Basic video editing and motion graphics experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge and application of performance marketing metrics such as A/B Testing, CRO Analytics, Heatmapping, and experience in designing for performance-oriented campaigns.
• Committed to staying ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can improve marketing and operations.
• 🏠 We provide a living wage at Directive; the annual base salary range for this position based in Canada is $70,000 - $95,000 CAD. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Directive's compensation practices, job-related skills, and level of experience.
