Mortgage Loan Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily closing and funding pipeline to ensure timely completion of workflows.

• Accurately enter data into the CRM to facilitate the processing of closing packages and the disbursement of funds.

• Review essential documents and collaborate with Title Companies and Escrow Agents to ensure timely corrections for funding figures.

• Finalize closing checklists for closing packages.

• Authorize Closing Disclosures to issue funding figures and release funds.

• Update the CRM with the correct loan closing dates.

• Track the Closer Funding Report to confirm that loans are funded as scheduled and that calculations are finalized prior to submission to Accounting.

• Request wire adjustments from warehouse banks with the necessary documentation.

• Inform Accounting regarding returned wires.

• Address closing-related inquiries and issues from Title Companies and Escrow Agents.

• Provide assistance to Processors and Loan Advisors with closing package queries from borrowers or notaries.

• Investigate and resolve Error Reports, Post Closing Reports, and any accounting discrepancies.

• Amend loan documents as required by Investors or Post Closing.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by Management.

• Recent experience in mortgage closing.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to multitask and perform well under pressure.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently.

• High-speed internet is essential for remote work, exclusively using Cable or Fiber with Ethernet capability.

• Minimum internet speeds required: 70/30 Mbps basic, 200–300/35–70 Mbps shared, or 500–1,000/100+ Mbps for heavy usage.
