This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Evaluate the financial situations of borrowers, including their income, liabilities, assets, and living costs.
• Examine payslips, tax returns, financial statements, bank statements, and related documentation.
• Detect any undisclosed liabilities, ongoing expenses, and potential credit risks.
• Confirm borrower information against supporting documents and lender criteria.
• Analyze serviceability and borrowing capacity using lender calculators.
• Review loan structures and provide suitable lending options for broker assessment.
• Ensure applications comply with lender credit policies and responsible lending standards.
• Create precise loan applications within Connective Mercury.
• Input borrower and security details into CRM and lender systems.
• Assemble complete applications for broker evaluation and submission via ApplyOnline.
• Upload and systematically organize all supporting documents.
• Fulfill lender-specific application requirements and checklists.
• Request property valuations and evaluate valuation reports.
• Prepare pricing inquiries and assist with lender negotiations as necessary.
• Review identification documents and ensure adherence to lender standards.
• Verify that all required documentation is received prior to submission.
• Complete compliance paperwork based on broker notes and customer interviews.
• Keep precise client records, application notes, and document management within the CRM.
• Ensure all files comply with internal quality assurance and compliance standards.
• Track application progress from submission to approval and settlement.
• Monitor lender turnaround times and outstanding conditions.
• Communicate with lenders, brokers, solicitors, and clients to gather additional information when necessary.
• Update brokers on application status and any credit-related concerns.
• Verify loan offers for accuracy prior to settlement.
• Maintain precise CRM records and client files.
• Oversee shared inboxes and respond to lender or client inquiries.
• Assist with administrative duties to support the mortgage team.
• Prepare documentation using Adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Contribute to marketing materials using Canva as required.
• Prior experience as a **Credit Analyst**, Credit Assessor, or Mortgage Credit Analyst supporting an Australian mortgage broker or lender.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian residential lending policies and credit assessment principles.
• Proven experience in analyzing financial documents and evaluating borrower serviceability.
• Capability to identify lending risks and suggest appropriate loan structures.
• Experience in reviewing bank statements, payslips, tax returns, liabilities, and supporting financial documents.
• Strong understanding of responsible lending obligations and compliance requirements.
• Practical experience with **Connective Mercury** and **ApplyOnline (AOL).**
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Preferred: Experience working with multiple Australian lenders.
• Familiarity with lender credit policies and servicing calculators.
• Background in pricing requests and ordering valuations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva.
