Modeling Analyst, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation, validation, and oversight of predictive models for credit and risk management.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and areas for enhancement.

• Develop queries and manipulate databases to derive insights and essential metrics.

• Aid in the documentation and governance of models.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to advance analytical and business initiatives.

• Keep abreast of the latest techniques and tools in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree completed or nearing completion in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related disciplines.

• Familiarity with data analysis and applied statistics.

• Proficient in SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis tasks.

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving business challenges through data.

• Intermediate proficiency in English for comprehending technical documentation and engaging in professional growth.

• Preferred: Academic experience, internships, or projects in modeling, data analysis, or financial markets.

• Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.

• Interest or experience in credit, risk, or financial services.

• Involvement in research projects, data competitions, or analytics initiatives.
