Mobile Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct maintenance on class 5 to class 8 trucks and recreational vehicles in accordance with OEM and company protocols at various off-site locations.

• Identify and rectify issues within truck systems utilizing hand tools, precision instruments, power tools, welding gear, jacks, and hoists.

• Execute repairs accurately as per the instructions from supervisors or work orders.

• Interact with customers to grasp their repair requirements and provide advice on necessary repairs.

• Initiate and manage work orders.

• Develop and uphold weekly schedules for repair locations.

• Ensure proper parts inventory is maintained on road service repair vehicles.

• Plan, oversee, and document maintenance for road service repair vehicles.

• Keep accurate time entries and adhere to work order protocols.

• Uphold efficiency standards and comply with the attendance policy.

• Label parts and adhere to OEM warranty processes.

• Test drive trucks to diagnose issues and confirm correct functionality.

• Examine, test, and evaluate malfunctioning equipment to identify defects.

• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure customer vehicles are clean during and after repairs.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on class 5 to class 8 trucks and recreational vehicles.

• Diagnose malfunctions in truck systems using hand tools, precision instruments, handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.

• Utilize power tools, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.

• Adhere to OEM and company guidelines.

• Follow instructions from supervisors or work orders.

• Comply with OEM warranty procedures.

• Maintain efficiency standards and adhere to the attendance policy.

• Keep accurate time entries and work order procedures.
