This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Ensure that necessary supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) are prepared for the day's patients.
• Utilize mobile technology to access the daily schedule and travel to each patient’s residence.
• Establish welcoming relationships with a diverse patient population.
• Gather pertinent patient information and carry out phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, ECGs, and other low-acuity diagnostic services.
• Provide services in a manner that is comfortable and convenient for patients.
• Accurately label collected samples and manage the drop-off process with the relevant laboratory or shipping facility.
• Record visits using a mobile application and facilitate care coordination through HIPAA-compliant messaging applications.
• Prior experience in venipuncture is essential.
• Demonstrated dependability, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Capability to work independently with a high standard of quality.
• Eagerness to learn and implement evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and HIPAA-secure messaging applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work solo or collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and the use of a personal vehicle for traveling to patient homes.
• Capacity to access and navigate patient residences, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds while walking.
• Must successfully pass a national background check, DMV check, and valid clinical license verification.
• State-mandated licensure and/or proof of training is required.
• National certification is required where state-level licensure is not applicable.
• Basic Life Support certification must be held.
• Evidence of completion of a relevant course/program or certification based on licensure level.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Current vehicle insurance is required.
• Proof of vaccination or immunity against COVID-19 plus a booster, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, a TB test within the past year, annual influenza vaccination or signed exemption, and TDaP within the past 10 years.
• Willingness to travel away from home for mandatory training during the initial two weeks of employment.
• Ability to travel within a service area up to 90+ minutes from home.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• An active Phlebotomy state license for California (CPT) is requested in the application form.
• Training provided for additional preventative and diagnostic services.
