Mobile Engineer, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the iOS client experience from start to finish.

• Develop and sustain iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Implement AI-driven features via backend APIs.

• Create UX patterns for AI interactions, including loading states, streaming responses, retries, and fallbacks.

• Enhance performance, memory consumption, and battery efficiency.

• Gather user signals and feedback to facilitate AI assessment and refinement.

• Work in close collaboration with backend and ML engineers on API architecture and system functionality.

• Ensure high standards of App Store quality, stability, and production reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Practical experience in integrating AI-driven features into mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks.

• Proven skills in optimizing iOS performance and memory usage.

• Experience in launching and maintaining production-level iOS applications.

• Proficiency in designing for latency, partial failures, and unpredictable AI behavior.

• Familiarity with CoreML or lightweight on-device machine learning.

• Knowledge of feature flags or remote configuration tools.

• A keen sense for AI UX patterns and considerations for user trust.
