ML Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

• Perform comprehensive research in the areas of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.

• Spot gaps, limitations, and potential opportunities within ongoing research and technologies.

• Keep abreast of the latest research publications, models, architectures, and methodologies.

• Investigate and assess innovative strategies that could enhance our ML capabilities.

• Evaluate current research and assess its applicability to real-world products.

• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and researchers to transform research concepts into actionable solutions.

• Suggest new ideas, experiments, and directions for the ML team.

• Design and implement experiments to validate research hypotheses.

• Review and assess existing methods and models.

• Clearly communicate research insights and technical recommendations to the broader ML team.

• Contribute to shaping the technical and research roadmap by identifying promising areas for exploration.

• Engage in the development of innovative ML solutions rather than merely applying established methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practical research experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a relevant technical discipline.

• Solid understanding of the core principles of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

• Demonstrated capability to carry out independent technical research and tackle complex issues.

• Strong skills in reading, comprehending, and critically analyzing research papers.

• Experience in identifying research gaps and proposing innovative approaches or solutions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Competence in transitioning from research concepts to experimentation and, where applicable, practical implementation.

• Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.

• Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

• An inquisitive and highly analytical mindset with a true passion for exploring new ideas and advancing the field of AI.
