This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform innovative concepts and scientific literature into high-performance and reliable scientific software.
• Oversee the generation, evaluation, and implementation of intricate datasets and machine learning models, ensuring their smooth incorporation into our extensive simulation frameworks.
• Manage software throughout the complete product lifecycle—from initial research and development to deployment and ongoing support—ensuring technical excellence at every phase.
• PhD or research-oriented MSc in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related quantitative discipline with a focus on advanced computational techniques.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in developing production-level software within professional teams.
• Familiarity or training in data science tasks pertinent to structural biology.
• Proven ability to convert research papers into tangible machine learning software artifacts.
• Experience in supporting models within external-facing products, showcasing the capability to connect "research code" with "product code".
• Direct experience in biopharma or training in cutting-edge affinity, structure-prediction, or generative chemistry models (strongly preferred).
• A track record of developing and launching successful commercial software products in a professional engineering setting (strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of MLOps practices on major cloud platforms to facilitate automated scaling and model monitoring (strongly preferred).
• Experience in interdisciplinary environments where artificial intelligence intersects with physical or biological sciences (strongly preferred).
