
ML Engineer β Verifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop and implement models to identify and flag suspicious activities using classification, anomaly detection, clustering, ranking, and other relevant methods.
β’ Manage machine learning pipelines comprehensively, covering feature generation, training, evaluation, batch/streaming inference, backfilling, and version control.
β’ Create evaluation and monitoring frameworks: establishing ground truth strategies in conjunction with Threat Intelligence, offline metrics, drift monitoring, and alert notifications.
β’ Work closely with product and engineering teams to incorporate intelligence into user-oriented workflows, such as review queues and decision-support tools.
β’ Enhance data quality and accessibility by collaborating with data engineering practices, including schemas, lineage, reproducibility, and access controls.
β’ Contribute to operational excellence by developing runbooks, managing incident responses, and implementing safe rollout procedures for systems that affect customer trust.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in building software ML systems for production environments.
β’ Background in fraud detection, abuse prevention, trust and safety, risk management, or security analytics.
β’ Familiarity with modern ML/DS workflows, including experimentation, evaluation, and deploying models relied upon by other teams.
β’ Comfortable navigating data pipelines and dealing with complex real-world data issues such as instrumentation gaps, bias, label noise, and evolving definitions.
β’ Prioritize reliability and safety by considering rollbacks, guardrails, human-in-the-loop reviews, and auditability.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively across various disciplines and translate ambiguous investigative requirements into well-defined engineering tasks.
β’ Pragmatic mindset: discerning when to initiate with a baseline and when to invest in more robust modeling and infrastructure.
β’ Remote-first work environment within the United States.
