This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional interpreting services primarily within healthcare environments.

• Assignments are conducted solely via phone or Zoom and are available regularly, based on the demand for specific languages and the qualifications of the interpreters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Mixteco and English.

• Proven experience in providing accurate, comprehensive, and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community contexts, maintaining the highest fidelity to the original message.

• Strong capability to interpret orally between Mixteco and English in both directions.

• Established ability to effectively engage with individuals from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

• Proficient in addressing the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government entities, community organizations, and internal stakeholders.

• A blend of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience.

• Willingness to secure necessary medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks when required.

• Must possess a reliable phone, a laptop or desktop computer, and a stable high-speed internet connection.

• Access to a quiet, private workspace to facilitate remote assignments.
