Mid/Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance high-quality frontend features for the Over99 web application and gaming platforms.

• Utilize React, Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, and contemporary frontend tools to provide swift and dependable user experiences.

• Take ownership of frontend implementation for engaging product flows encompassing wallets, balances, gameplay, account features, promotions, and real-time updates.

• Collaborate with engineers on frontend architecture, reusable components, state management, and performance enhancements.

• Construct and improve real-time client-server functionalities employing technologies such as Socket.IO, WebSockets, and event-driven updates.

• Contribute to game-oriented frontend experiences that include animations, audio, timing, physics, and responsive interaction patterns.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver well-polished end-to-end features.

• Leverage Cursor IDE, LLMs, and AI-assisted coding workflows extensively as part of daily engineering tasks, including MCP-powered integrations and custom tools built on Cursor.

• Apply observability practices and tools like Datadog to monitor frontend health, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance user impact.

• Write maintainable, thoroughly tested code and partake in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and uphold team engineering standards.

• Guide less experienced engineers through constructive reviews, collaborative work, technical advice, and exemplary demonstrations of ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating substantial frontend engineering expertise.

• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices.

• Extensive experience in building production web applications using React, Vue, or comparable modern frontend frameworks.

• Strong grasp of component architecture, state management, API integration, and responsive UI development.

• Experience in developing or optimizing high-performance interactive experiences, including animations, real-time updates, and client-server communications.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-assisted engineering workflows with Cursor IDE, LLMs, and other related developer tools.

• Solid experience with Git, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.

• Capable of working independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining effective communication, reliability, and a sense of ownership.

• Possess a strong product sense, debugging skills, and practical judgment when balancing quality, speed, and maintainability.
