This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Developing tools similar to MCP that provide network device APIs and CLI commands with comprehensive descriptions, well-structured inputs/outputs, validation logic, and error management.
• Overseeing tool metadata and facilitating semantic searches across available tools utilizing a vector database.
• Crafting exemplary user queries, anticipated responses, and variations for specific tools, intents, and network operation scenarios.
• Creating automated tests to ensure accurate tool selection, tool parameterization, output formatting, and comprehensive agent responses.
• Designing evaluation processes that integrate deterministic checks, human assessments, and LLM-as-a-judge methodologies, such as using DeepEval or custom evaluation prompts.
• Enhancing prompts, tool descriptions, schemas, and agent workflows while tracking regressions when new tools or modifications are implemented.
• Producing high-quality Python code and tests employing frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Collaborating with software engineers, network domain specialists, and DevOps teams to provide reliable, testable, and maintainable agent-based workflows.
• AI and development proficiency: Practical experience with LLM-driven workflows, agentic frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, and patterns for tool invocation.
• Agentic tool development experience: Skilled in designing structured tools with clear descriptions, input/output schemas, validation logic, and integration with external APIs or command-line systems.
• Search, RAG, and prompting knowledge: Familiarity with semantic search, vector databases, RAG patterns, prompt engineering, and structured LLM outputs.
• Testing and evaluation skills: Experience in crafting exemplary queries, automated testing, regression assessments, and evaluations of chatbot/agent responses, including LLM-as-a-judge techniques.
• Python engineering expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing production-quality Python code, incorporating automated tests and maintainable integration logic.
• Networking knowledge: Possession of a CCNA certificate or equivalent understanding. Familiarity with networking platforms, device commands, and troubleshooting methods.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level, preferably C1 or C2).
