Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer – Active Secret Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, configure, and sustain intricate ServiceNow applications and enterprise solutions.

• Spearhead technical implementation initiatives for Project MOSS within the ARL DBO environment.

• Craft scalable ServiceNow architectures that comply with government standards and platform best practices.

• Develop sophisticated functionalities utilizing JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Oversee the creation of custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and low-code features.

• Design and execute integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise applications.

• Assess customer requirements and convert them into technical designs and implementation plans.

• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards and best practices.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level ServiceNow developers.

• Diagnose complex platform issues and propose long-term resolutions.

• Engage in architecture reviews, technical planning meetings, and Agile ceremonies.

• Produce technical documentation, design documents, deployment strategies, and operational procedures.

• Assist with platform upgrades, release management, testing, and production rollouts.

• Ensure solutions adhere to cybersecurity protocols, government policies, and ServiceNow development standards.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to provide integrated enterprise solutions.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance automation, operational efficiency, and platform performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.

• Proficient in JavaScript, GlideScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.

• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.

• Familiarity with developing REST and SOAP integrations.

• Background in supporting ServiceNow platform upgrades and application lifecycle management.

• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and ServiceNow best practices.

• Experience in Agile software development environments.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Capacity to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• More than eight (8) years of progressively responsible software development experience.

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in ServiceNow platform development.
