Mid Level QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Planning and execution of manual and automated tests for backend applications (API and Messaging);

• Knowledge of performance testing;

• Ensure the quality processes of the squad (bug management, prioritization of fixes, root cause analysis);

⛳️ Requirements

• Backend testing with messaging (e.g., SQS, SNS, and Kafka);

• Planning of automated and manual tests;

• Testing pyramid (Martin Fowler);

• Test automation using .NET and Mockito for messaging, and Rest-assured for REST API;

• Performance testing (JMeter);

• Continuous Testing (CI/CD);

• Mutation testing, End2End, and Regression tests;

• Knowledge in Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI);

• Docker and/or Podman;

• LocalStack;

• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements of user stories;

• Participation and collaboration in the refinement of user stories;

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, their rituals, and task management;

• Direct relationship with the client;

• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD environments and version control tools;

• Experience with the use of Artificial Intelligence, including case studies;

• Knowledge of AWS and use of AI (considered a plus);

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks for API and messaging (considered a plus);

• Experience in Financial, Banking, or Insurance contexts (considered a plus);
