Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, NodeJs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and testing of REST APIs and integrations with HR and Asset Management Software.

• Support the design and development of user interfaces for web applications, emphasizing responsive and user-friendly layouts.

• Utilize AI tools and LLMs for basic code generation, review, and testing under the mentorship of senior developers.

• Participate in the development and maintenance of test cases to ensure functionality aligns with business requirements.

• Aid in constructing reusable code and libraries for future use in both front-end and back-end development.

• Collaborate with team members to comprehend and translate straightforward user and business needs into functional code.

• Establish a foundation in full-stack best practices by adhering to the guidance of senior developers and established protocols.

• Assist in identifying and resolving coding issues across the stack through close collaboration with the team.

• Work alongside senior engineers and product managers to grasp requirements and enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web development encompassing both Frontend and Backend.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of CSS, preprocessors (SASS or SCSS), and frameworks such as Tailwind.

• Experience with REST APIs, either through consumption or endpoint development.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and eagerness to learn about serverless functions (Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda).

• Interest in learning and utilizing AI tools, including LLMs, for coding and testing purposes.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies or a willingness to engage in a Scrum development process.

• Basic knowledge of collaboration tools such as GitHub, Figma, and Miro.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
