Mid-level Data Scientist – Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Utilize data analysis methodologies to address business challenges within the specified scope.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and potential opportunities.

• Prepare datasets and execute feature engineering for model development.

• Create, test, and validate Machine Learning models.

• Assess model performance using suitable evaluation metrics.

• Assist in interpreting results and generating actionable insights.

• Present analytical findings to both technical and business audiences.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and IT.

• Confirm hypotheses, assumptions, and model outputs with relevant stakeholders.

• Proven experience in data analysis and Machine Learning.

• Strong proficiency in Python (including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) or R.

• Experience with SQL for data manipulation tasks.

• Practical knowledge of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).

• Skills in data preparation and cleaning.

• Experience in feature engineering.

• Competence in model training and validation.

• Familiarity with model evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score.
