Mid Level Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain dashboards, KPIs, and analytical outputs with full accountability for data precision, metric definitions, and stakeholder accessibility.

• Utilize SQL and Power BI to extract, model, and visualize data, developing dependable reports that facilitate informed business decisions.

• Partner with commercial, product, and Data Engineering teams to convert requirements into clear, actionable analytics.

• Oversee data quality, identify inconsistencies early, and assist in corrective measures with engineering collaborators.

• Aid in metric standardization and documentation, ensuring uniform definitions across reports and tools.

• Operate within Git-based workflows (branches, pull requests) for SQL and BI assets, adhering to team standards for versioned analytics delivery.

• Contribute to team initiatives such as centralized KPI layers, structured self-service, and the transition to more advanced analytics operations, including CI/CD for BI where applicable.

• Provide ad hoc analyses with minimal oversight, linking insights to business inquiries and suggesting subsequent actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative discipline.

• Proficient in advanced SQL for data querying, transformation, and analytical modeling.

• Expertise in advanced Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.

• Basic knowledge of Python and PySpark, capable of reading and interpreting scripts; complex pipeline tasks are supported by Data Engineering.

• Intermediate understanding of Statistics for accurate metric interpretation and support of data-driven decision-making.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics with a proven history of delivering KPIs and dashboards in cross-functional settings.

• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) for effective global collaboration.
