Mid-level Android Developer, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve Android applications utilizing Kotlin, ensuring optimal quality and performance.

• Design scalable and modular solutions while applying architectural best practices (Clean Architecture, SOLID).

• Implement and manage dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin).

• Create and uphold unit tests to ensure stability in delivery.

• Investigate complex issues, propose innovative solutions, and drive them to resolution.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and mobile automation processes.

• Collaborate with iOS, Product, and Design teams to ensure technical alignment and consistent user experiences across platforms.

• Engage in technical discussions related to cross-platform decisions within the mobile ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Kotlin.

• Solid understanding of Java.

• Experience with dependency injection techniques (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin).

• Proven ability to create and maintain unit tests.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, CircleCI, etc.).

• Knowledge of architectural and engineering best practices (Clean Architecture, SOLID, etc.).

• Capability to read and comprehend Swift code.

• Understanding of fundamental iOS architecture concepts (MVVM, modularization, lifecycle).

• Ability to actively participate in technical discussions with the iOS team.

• Experience with Jetpack Compose is an advantage.

• Practical experience in developing iOS applications using Swift is a bonus.

• Familiarity with the NDK or native code (C/C++) is beneficial.

• Involvement in apps published on the Play Store and/or App Store is a plus.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is advantageous.
